How do I access it?
You will need the following to access Security Federal's Security@home online banking:
- You will need your Account Number, a 4 Digit PIN and a Password.
The credit union will assign you a PIN (Personal Identification Number) and Password. You have the ability to change the Password we assign you on Security@home, and we encourage you to do so for your protection! If you are already a Security Federal ATM Card and 24-Hour Telephone Account Access user, you will use the same PIN for Security@home online banking. Once you've accessed Security@home, for added security you will be required to enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) by selecting a phrase, image, and three challenge questions. - A personal computer with Internet access and a browser that supports:
- JavaScript
- Cookies
- 128-bit encryption
- Supported PC browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or higher, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape 8.0 or higher, and Opera. Apple Mac Operating Systems: Mozilla Firefox, Netscape 8.0 or higher, Opera, and Apple Safari. Only the full standalone Internet browser applications are supported. The use of an Internet browser application imbedded within another application, such as Microsoft Outlook, is not supported for use with our online banking.
Troubleshooting: If you are having challenges when you logon to Security@home, you may need to delete your Cookies and Temporary Files. If you still experience challenges with logon after deleting your Cookies and Temporary Files, please contact us.
TO DELETE COOKIES AND TEMP FILES FROM INTERNET EXPLORER 6 WEB BROWSER:
- Close all Internet Explorer windows (this is very important!)
- Right click on Internet Explorer Icon and scroll down to "Properties".
- Click on [Delete Cookies] button, then click "OK". This will delete all cookies in the Temporary Internet files folder.
- Click on [Delete Files] button.
- Check the Delete all offline content box, then click "OK".
- Click on OK to close out of maintenance.
TO DELETE COOKIES AND TEMP FILES FROM INTERNET EXPLORER 7 - USED ON WINDOWS XP & VISTA:
- On the toolbar, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
- On the General tab, click Delete in the Browsing history area.
- In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, click Delete All to remove all temporary files or you can select what you want to remove by doing any of the following.
- Click Delete files, and then click Yes in the Delete Files dialog box.
- Click Delete cookies, and then click Yes in the Delete Cookies dialog box.
- Click Delete history, and then click Yes in the Delete History dialog box.
- Click Delete forms and then click Yes in the Delete Form Data dialog box.
- Click Close, and then click OK.
TO DELETE COOKIES AND TEMP FILES FROM MOZILLA FIREFOX:
- Open Firefox
- Click Tools
- Click Clear Private Data
- Check the boxes and click [Clear Private Data Now].
TO DELETE COOKIES AND TEMP FILES FROM SAFARI WEB BROWSER:
- Choose Edit > Preferences.
- Click Security.
- Click Show Cookies.
- Select one or more cookies and click Remove, or click Remove All.
- When you finish removing cookies, click Done.
TO DELETE COOKIES AND TEMP FILES FROM OPERA WEB BROWSER:
- Choose Tools > Delete Private Data...
- Click Details.
- Verify that "Delete All Cookies" and "Delete Temporary Cookies" are checked.
- Click Delete
