As a member of Security Federal Credit Union, you entrust us with your personal financial information. We take that responsibility very seriously and are employing the latest technology to protect your account.

Security@home online banking system utilizes MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) as an added security feature to protect your account information.

What is MFA?

MFA is an added security feature to protect your account information when you use Security@home. MFA ensures that users are authorized to access account information. After enrolling in MFA, you will verify yourself to Security Federal by the computer you use, your account number and PIN when logging into your account. You will know you are logging into Security Federal's website when MFA displays your secret image and phrase. It will then be safe to enter your password.

How to Enroll in MFA

Once you access the Security@home page, you will be asked to enter your Account Number and 4 Digit PIN. Click the "Continue" button and you will be asked for your Password on the next screen.

Security@home has a virtual keyboard for entering your Password. Using your mouse, enter your Password on the virtual keyboard then click on the "Access My Accounts" button.

The next page will allow you to enroll in our secure authentication system. It is simple to do and you will enjoy the peace of mind offered by this added security. Please select an image and phrase that you will recognize, plus provide answers to three challenge questions on the enrollment screen after you logon. Then click the "Submit" button.

The next time you logon you will see your image and phrase to verify that you are on Security Federal's website. If you do not see your image or phrase, do not continue and please contact the Credit Union. For your protection, you will be asked a challenge question if you use a computer that has not been registered or if you have a laptop and are accessing the Internet from a different location. Also, as an occasional authentication test, you may be asked a challenge question when using a previously registered computer. Members using dial-up modems for Internet access may be required to correctly answer a challenge question each time they logon.
